Polyester Spunlace Nonwoven Fabric

Product Overview

Our Polyester Spunlace Nonwoven is made from 100% polyester fiber and formed by hydroentanglement, a process in which fine high-pressure water jets entangle the fibers into a compact, uniform web. The result is a strong, flat fabric with a smooth surface and consistent quality from roll to roll.

Polyester is naturally durable and does not absorb moisture, so the fabric keeps its shape, resists tearing and stays stable during coating, laminating, printing and molding. This makes it a dependable substrate for products that need both a clean finish and long service life.

The fabric is supplied in rolls with a basis weight of 32–130 g and a width of up to 3250 mm. Grades are tuned for different end uses, including sizing-finished, high-density and lightweight moldable types. It is widely used as a base material in our base cloth series for decoration, automotive and synthetic leather products.

Key Features

  • Strong and tear-resistant: The entangled polyester fibers give high tear strength and a durable structure that lasts in use.
  • Excellent dimensional stability: The fabric resists stretching and deformation, so it stays flat and smooth through processing.
  • Uniform, smooth surface: A consistent texture gives a clean base for coating, lamination, printing and finishing.
  • Moisture resistant: Polyester is inherently hydrophobic, which helps prevent moisture damage in the final product.
  • Good processability: Bonds well with adhesives and PU/PVC coatings, and can be molded into 3D shapes.
  • Lightweight options: Low-weight grades help reduce the overall weight of finished parts without losing strength.
  • Customizable: Weight, width and finishing can be adjusted to match your production line.

Applications

  • Wall cloth and wallpaper backing: A stable, tear-resistant base for wallcoverings, decorative panels and wall protection in hotels, offices and public spaces. Typical weight is 60–130 g.
  • Curtains: Sizing-finished fabric with a crisp drape and a good printing surface for home curtains, hotel and office drapes, space dividers and decorative backdrops. Typical weight is 32–60 g.
  • Car roof lining: A lightweight, moldable substrate for headliners, sunshades, overhead console covers, interior trim panels and parcel shelves, with added sound absorption. Typical weight is 50–130 g.
  • Leather base fabric: A high-density base with even porosity for PU and PVC synthetic leather used in footwear, bags, furniture, car seats, sports equipment and premium packaging. Typical weight is 45–130 g.
